Auditing

AuditingOur team are qualified to perform a variety of financial audits, helping you to see where your business could improve and satisfying statutory auditing obligations.

Audits are a necessary component in maintaining transparency in your business and to ensure that the current processes are in place to maximise future business performance.

ATO Audits

We will assist you with the preparation of audits if you are audited by the Australian Taxation Office.

  • For Taxation
  • Superannuation audits
  • Payroll audits
  • Superannuation Guarantee audits
  • GST audits

Self-Managed Superannuation Funds

As a trustee of SMSF, you are required to have an annual audit undertaken to ensure compliance. As superannuation legislation and regulations are continually changing, auditing of SMSF’s is becoming more of a specialised area.

If superannuation is not one of your primary business focuses, it can often be difficult to maintain a sound knowledge of the legislation and what practices you and your clients should follow to ensure that their funds remain compliant and not in danger of being in breach of the rules.

Master Accounting attends to audits for accountants and their clients across Australia. The key features of the service we provide are:

  • All contact with the trustees is via their accountant, thereby protecting the accountant client relationship.
  • A reasonable fixed fee applies.#
  • An independent audit is obtained.
  • Our target is to either complete the audit or have a query listing emailed within fourteen days of receipt of the work. And once any queries have been answered we aim to have the audit finalised within fourteen days.

We offer a team that has full technical and legal support. If there are any compliance problems with a client’s fund, our experienced personnel can assist the trustees and their accountant to resolve the issue.

#Fees are reviewed at July each year. A reduced first year fee will apply to funds that have a very small number of transactions. Whilst rarely occurring, an additional fee may apply in the second and subsequent years for very complicated funds.
